This policy outlines the procedures for returns and refunds to ensure a smooth and transparent process. We encourage you to read this policy before making a purchase.

2. General Return Eligibility

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may be eligible to return the product for a refund or exchange, subject to the following conditions:

  • Time Frame: Returns must be initiated within 10 days from the date of purchase as stated on the original invoice.
  • Product Condition: The product must be unused, undamaged, and in its original, saleable condition.
  • Packaging: The product must be in its original, unopened, and untampered packaging. This is especially critical for tiles to maintain batch integrity.
  • Proof of Purchase: You must present the original invoice for all return requests. We cannot process returns without it.

3. Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of our products, the following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Special Order Items: Products that have been specially ordered from a manufacturer on your behalf.
  • Clearance or Sale Items: Any product sold at a discounted price during a sale or as part of a clearance.
  • Opened or Loose Materials: Items such as grout, cement, adhesives, chemicals, or any product sold in bags that have been opened.
  • Tiles from Opened Boxes: To ensure quality and batch consistency for all our customers, we cannot accept returns of tiles from boxes that have been opened.
  • Custom-Cut Items: Any product that has been custom cut or altered to your specifications.

4. How to Initiate a Return

Step 1: Contact the Showroom of PurchaseBefore bringing any items back, it is essential to contact the specific showroom where you made the purchase. Our team will confirm the eligibility of your return and guide you on the next steps.

Step 2: Transport the ItemsYou are responsible for safely transporting the eligible return items back to the original point of purchase. Any costs associated with the return transport will be borne by you.
Step 3: VerificationOur team will inspect the returned products to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria mentioned in Section 2. We will also verify the original invoice.
Step 4: ProcessingOnce approved, we will process your refund or exchange.

5. Refund and Exchange Process

Refunds: Approved refunds will be processed back to your original mode of payment (e.g., credit card, bank account via NEFT). Please allow 7-10 working days for the refund to reflect in your account.
Exchanges: You may exchange the returned item for another product of equal or greater value. The difference in cost, if any, must be paid at the time of the exchange.
Credit Note: At our discretion, we may offer a credit note that can be used for future purchases at any George Kaitharan Buildware showroom.

6. Damaged or Defective Products

Please inspect all goods thoroughly at the time of delivery or pickup. If you receive a product that is damaged or has a manufacturing defect, please notify us within 48 hours by calling the showroom of purchase. We will guide you on the verification and resolution process, which may include a replacement or a full refund.

7. Important Considerations

Restocking Fee: For certain approved returns, particularly for large quantities, a restocking fee of up to 15% of the purchase price may be applicable. This will be communicated to you at the time of the return request.
Tile Batch Variation: Tiles are produced in batches, and slight variations in shade and size are normal. We cannot guarantee that products from a future purchase will match a previous one.
